The Black Horse

Located on the B3024 on the western edge of Windsor, the Black Horse is an Edwardian building with a smart white frontage and a comfortable, traditionally styled interior. Ricky and Jean Woodham have held the reins at the Black Horse since the summer of 2000. The pub is open every session and all day Friday to Sunday, and food is served Monday to Saturday lunchtime. Jean's steak & kidney pie has many admirers, but there's plenty more to choose from on the printed menu and specials board. Themed barbecues are held regularly in the summer. There's a quiz once a month on a Tuesday in winter, and on the second Tuesday of each month the pub is a meeting place for vintage motorcycle enthusiasts and their machines. Basic accommodation is available in two twin-bedded rooms which can be let on a room only or B&B basis.
