Office was in the shop. The
lady in a white blouse, at
the front of the shop is
Jemima Slaughter, wife of
Gentleman Jim. The man with
the bike is standing by the
coalyard gates. The gap
between the buildings,
behind Mrs. Slaughter is the
passage to St Georges
Cottages. This photo was
taken from somewhere between
the modern Post Office and
Tescos. It's where the off
licence is now.
